Keep up to speed with the New Silk Road

It is now almost two years since President Xi Jinping launched the One Belt, One Road initiative, China¹s ambitious plan to invest billions of dollars in the ports, infrastructure, roads and railways along the Silk Road trade routes.

Those two years have seen the launch of some 75 economic and trade cooperation zones in 35 participating countries and regions and the creation of almost one million jobs.

If successful, this New Silk Road promises to benefit total or more than 60 countries representing more than half the world¹s population and is already opening up countless business and investment opportunities across Europe and Asia.
